Why must we live life based on someone else's ideas?
Why must we conform to some other person's rules?
Why can we not live according to our own precepts, as long as we do no harm to others?
Is it too much to ask of others, that they recognize our own decisions based on our vision of our world?
If we live a life that does no harm to others, who can say the life we live is wrong?
To live a life based on the whim of others is not living a life of our own.
Who's to say we cannot live a life of our own?
Who on this earth is so perfect as to be able to judge others?
For this is what we are doing when we say of some one "He is not living the right way" even though he is doing no harm to others.
Live and let live is a precept little known in our world.
This in spite of the fact, that it is just a restatement of the Golden Rule. And you can find a "Golden Rule" in the writings of every major religion of the world.
